EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Business Description
This business proposal is for the Alphashine Enterprise to expand the current operation and develop new activities involving:
⢠Cleaning the countryâs landfill waste through exporting and recycling waste products
⢠Purchase of new bale machines, crusher and other related machines to increase the current volume of waste collection and baling.
⢠Importing larger volumes of bale from abroad, crushed and re-export to China
⢠Palletizing of scrap plastics and other materials
⢠To expand the export volume of all types of waste including:
ï¼ Plastic
ï¼ Metal
ï¼ Copper
ï¼ Aluminium
ï¼ Paper
ï¼ Glass
⢠Expand to other dumping areas in the rest of the districts and Kg Air

Ownership and Management
⢠Alphashine Enterprise is a small family oriented business incorporated under the laws of Brunei Darussalam.
⢠The local entrepreneur and owner is Awg Abd Rahman Hj Mohd Noor who has been in the business since 2003.
⢠All the 5 workers are locals

Current Project Status and Resources
⢠Collecting and buying all type of scrap plastics and export to China via Hong Kong.
⢠Scrap plastics are collected from the Sg Akar landfill site and baled into container for export to China.

Key Objectives and Business Proposal
⢠Prospect of expanding the business is very good with continuously high demand for scrap materials of all kinds (plastics, metals, aluminium, rubber, glass, paper, copper) especially in China and India for recycling.
⢠Plans to locate bale machines, crushers at the Sg Akar dumping site and at the port warehouse to enable efficient collection and increase in the volume of export
⢠The company wishes to directly apply for consideration and approval from the Honourable Minister of Development, where issues related to the environment are under the purview of the Ministry.
⢠The company has also made enquiries as to the possibility of importing larger volume of baled scrap materials from EU, have them crushed in Brunei and re-export to China.
⢠Purchase palletizing machine(s) to convert scrap plastics into pallets (for exports)
⢠Fresh cash injection of B$600, 000 to execute the above programmes.

Project Activities and Schedule The fresh injection of the B$0.6 million will be utilised to
o Purchase of crusher machines to be located at the Port warehouse to crush imports of baled scrap materials from EU.
o Purchase new bale machines, forklift, excavator, truck and loading metal
o To maximize the volume of export of all scraps
o Purchase palletizing machine(s) to produce plastic pallets
o Rent and build new office and storage within a year
o Meet the current commitment and operational cost
