Shandong Humon Smelting Co., ***** located in the beautiful Jiaodong peninsula with pleasant weather, where Laishan district, Wendeng city and Rushan city meet. It is separated from Yantai Harbor and Railway Station by s distance of 60km, and 50km from Yantai Airport, with transport facilities of sea, land and air.
ããThe Company was founded in 1988, and is mainly engaged in mining, concent- ration and smelting of gold, and the manufacture of chemical industry, etc. It is one of the professional gold-smelting companies assigned by the state. In 1997, it was reformed to a Limited-liability company granted by Peopleâs Government of Shandong Province. With the perfection of the quality system management, the company passed the authentication of ISO9002 Quality System Certificate in February, 1999. The present mining and concentration capability and the annual output of gold have ascended to the top rank in the national gold industry. There are 7 gold mines like Muping Lazigou gold mine, etc and 6 non-mine subsidiaries of transportation, jewelerâs and gas station.
ããThe Company possesses assets worth 908 million yuan, with staff and workers of 1800. Its main products and scale: annual production of gold is 10tons, silver 40 tons, electrolytic copper 2000 tons, sulphuric acid 400, 000 tons, liquid sulphur dioxide 10, 000 tons, 3.3ââdichlorobenzidine hydrochloride 2ï¼000 tons and sodium methoxide 2000 tons. The complete sets of mining and concentration can produce 1, 200 ton per day so as to realize the annual income for sales of 1 billion yuan.
ããThe company, for many years running, has been awarded âStar Enterpriseâ and âAdvanced Unit for the Construction of Spiritual Civilizationâ by the district committee and the district government. It was also awarded by the department concerned from the province the titles of âAAAâ credit enterprise, âAdvanced Enterpriseâ and âAdvanced Unit for Secure Environmental Protectionâ, etc.
