RFQ Details

Subject: Buy for Steam Coal Supply Dear [Supplier], I hope this message finds you well. We are currently seeking suppliers for steam coal with a Gross Calorific Value (Air Dried Basis) between 6,000 6,500 kcal/kg. Our preferred payment terms involve a MT700 Top 10 Malaysian Bank Direct Letter of Credit (DLC), covering 100% of the value, confirmed, irrevocable, and non-transferable, to be cleared upon quality testing at the destination port on a CIF basis. We are looking to start with shipments of 70,000 metric tons each, loaded in a mother vessel derived from a single-mine-pit to ensure consistent quality. The initial order will be on a spot-order basis (trial of 2-3 shipments), with the potential to convert into a 3-year contract comprising twelve shipments annually. Prior to proceeding, we require completion of a pre-qualification questionnaire to assess critical data on the coal mines and quality.
