UNIVERSAL COUPLING BETWEEN GEARBOX AND MOTOR FOR PUSHER CAR WITH BRAKE

RFQ Details

The Universal Couplings shall be adequately designed based on the information given in the technical specification. The bidder shall satisfy himself regarding sound performance of the Couplings under specified conditions. A suitable service factor is to be selected by the supplier for the type of duty and condition specified. Permissible axial shift of two halves shall be 50 mm minimum(on both side of its axis). Also angular flexibility of 12.5 DEG (on both side of its axis) has to be provided (Refer enclosed sketch).

The details of drive shaft and driven shaft shall be informed to successful bidder. The successful bidder will have to supply input and output hubs (maintaining the tolerance) suitable for such input and output shafts. Keyways shall be made according to IS: 2048.

Shell : IS:2062
Spindle : 45C8, IS:1570
Bush (Square) : Brass, GR-HTB1, IS:304
Fork : 45C8, IS:1570
Brake drum of 500mm diameter (minimum) is to be supplied by vendor.
