Seaweed Industry Association (SIA) is a trade association whose goal is to expand and promote global seaweed production and trade, dedicated to providing information, networking opportunities, and services for members and customers of the seaweed supply chain for food, food additives, cosmetics, personal care, and chemicals. SIA€™s primary goals are to: - expand markets for seaweed products - provide tools to assist small scale producers in the global market - enable exporters and shippers of seaweed products to reduce costs - support farmers€™ and harvesters€™ efforts to increase capacity and yields, and - facilitate information exchange and network building throughout the commercial seaweed supply chain
