Superb hardenability, hardness, strength and toughness are obtained after quenching. 1.***1's characteristics are better than Cr*2.
The diameter below **0~**0mm can be fully hardened, has small quenching distortion.
It is mainly used to produce moulds and tools which have large section, complicated shape and high working load.
E.g : piercing die, comb dies, coining die, thread rolling die, standard tools and measuring tools.
