Off-line reflective glass is produced with magenetron sputtered vacuum deposition technique. In vacuum chambers, a homogeneous film of metal or metal compound is coated on the surface of float glass directly. By adjusting specific factors in the process, defferent colors with high thermal performance can be obtained. The coatings applied by this technique are soft and must be protected against external influences and are therefore used for the interior side of glass panes.
