Additional requirements :

For Alloy 46 100 the contents of the Si in upper limit of tolerance (above 11 %) according to norm (PN-EN 1676).

To report analysis producer must attache melting Samales for quality control In LORIEN

- the sample concerns each melting , marked and packed In foil bag.
Atest must be attache to delivery .

1. Quality of the Ingots
The surface and cross-section of the pigs must be free from any holes, metallic or non-metallic inclusions (hard points, oxides), scratches, cavities and gas porosity (see annex).
The optical appearance of the pigs needs to:
a. metallic shine
b. clean surface, no dust, dirt
c. no hardprints, scratches, scum, holes on the surface
d. clean, dry, no oil or fat

It is to ensure in the supply chain that at delivery all alloys are free of contamination by ionizing radiation (eg radioactivity) and that the components of the alloys are not covered by the prohibition of substances of the German and European chemicals legislation, notably the 1907/2006 / EC fall (REACH). At any delivery batch this has to be confirmed in writing on the delivery notes.
Declarable substances are listed in the current Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) and must necessarily be displayed to us. We reserve ourselves complementary control mechanisms for the observance of this demand in general.
The chemical composition must be within the tolerances specified in our currently applicable WN 1.104.01; in addition, the alloy must cast well. An inspection certificate after DIN EN 10204-3.1 is to be added.

In order to ensure compliance with the quality requirements the manufacturer has to apply suitable inspection and monitoring procedures (e.g., chemical analysis, metallographic grinding...) to and has to maintain accessable records.
The incoming inspection of alloy is performed at the above mentioned delivery address.
The chemical analysis of delivery is evaluated by spectral analysis.
At least one sample per batch alloy is analyzed. The spark emission itself takes place on at least three points per disc worked out from the supplied pig.

2.General
The truck must be side loaded as in our factories side unloading is the only possible way.
Our incoming goods inspection does not liberate the contractor from liability.
Place of performance is the shipping address shown in each case.
In case of dispute, an accredited arbitration laboratory selected by mutual agreement between us and the supplier must conduct examinations. The decision of the responsible arbitrating expert should be regarded as final.
