Construction 
ACAR has aluminium ***0 H**9 wires concentrically stranded around a ****-T*1 aluminium 
Alloy core. Typically, the ****-T*1 is the conductor core, but in certain designs, the ***0 H**9 And the ****-T*1 wires may be stranded in the same layer.

Moseroth ACAR meets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications:
B***0 Aluminum Wire, ****-H*9 for Electrical Purposes.
B***8 Aluminum-Alloy ****-T*1 for Electrical Purposes.
B***4 Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum Conductors, Aluminum Alloy Reinforced ACAR, ***0/***1.
