Acrylamide

Acrylamide (or acrylic amide) is a chemical compound with the chemical 
formula C3H5NO. Its IUPAC name is prop**-enamide. It is a white odourless crystalline solid, soluble in water, ethanol, ether, 
and chloroform. Acrylamide is incompatible with acids, bases, oxidizing agents, iron, and iron salts. It decomposes 
nonthermally to form ammonia, and thermal decomposition produces carbon monoxide,

Use:

Most acrylamide is used to synthesize polyacrylamides, which find many uses as watersoluble thickeners. 
These include use in wastewater treatment, gel electrophoresis (SDSPAGE), papermaking, 
ore processing, and the manufacture of permanent press fabrics. 

Some acrylamide is used in the manufacture of dyes and the manufacture of other monomers.

Safety cautions:

The product is poisonous, it can't be put into mouth or contact with skin. 

In case of contact with skin, you should immediately wipe off and clean with water. 

During usage and transportion it is not allowed to eat (including smoking and 

drinking)without handwashing.

Storage:

Acrylamide should be kept in a cool, dark place with fine ventilation and shouldn't be 

exposed to sunlight and the storage temperature can't exceed *5°C. It's forbidden to mix with oxidant or reductant.
