Die Steel is mainly used for manufacture of cold-work dies with high abrasive resistance and small shock load. SMC is delighted to provide wide range of alloy steel to the customers; we also accept customization according to your requirement.

3. Smelting Process: 
    1) EAF+LF+VD 
    2) EAF+LF+VD+ESR Note:EAF=Electric Arc Furnace; LF=Ladle Furnace; VD=Vacuum Degassing; ESR=Eleroslag Re-melted.
4. Shaping: Hot forged / Hot rolled 
5. Surface condition: Black surface/turning/milling/grinding/polishing 
6. Annealing Hardness : HB**0 Max Hardness after Q+T(quenching+tempering):****9HRC
 
Application of Die Steel:
- High precision mirror-polishing plastic mould 
- Blanking die, punching pin, thread rolling die, cold heading die, pot clay die and forming die for -thermosetting plastics, all kinds of dies
- To make extrusion die for aluminum alloy and long service life die-casting die for aluminum, -magnesium, zinc, etc
- To make knockout pin/mandrel of hot die
- Large and medium sized hammers forging dies
- Cutting tools and measuring tools, etc
