MSC series toroidal cores are made of thin (*0+/*2 microns) Fe-based amorphous ribbon and due to their high saturation induction (1.5 T) have a higher inductance rate and the opportunity to operate with a high bias current. Distributed gap, obtained through a special thermomagnetic treatment regime, helps to reduce losses and cost, and to increase technological effectiveness.

Application: mobile devices, miniature DC/DC converters, cell phones, laptops, adapters, car electronics and so on.

CONFIGURATION:

Ribbon wound magnetic core is placed into hard protective container of aluminum alloy and mechanically fixed with silicone sealant.The container has rounded edges and is designed for direct winding of a thick wire. The container provides reliable mechanical protection and preservation of amorphous material's properties. All materials comply with UL*4V*1 / 0.
