Common UsesThe seed, root and leaves of Bakuci is used in the form of powder to treat skin diseases, vitiligo, minor skin diseases, poisoning, for conception, caries, deafness, filaria, wound and as rejuvinative. Kustha Anointment with the powder of bakuci mixed with sunthi (zingiber officinale) destroys severe and chronic kustha (BP.Ci.*4.*3) Vitiligo Decoction of amalaka (Phyllanthus emblica) and khadira (acacia catechu) (heart wood) added with bakuci powder should be used regularly keeping on wholesome diet. It alleviates vitiligo.
