SS**1 NEUTRAL Silicone
Sealant
DESCRIPTION
SS**1 Neutral Silicone Sealant is a
universal construction silicone sealant. It overcomes the
disadvantages of acetoxy cure silicone sealant such as unpleasant
odor, corrosion to metal and coated glass. SS**1 can substitutes
acetoxy cure silicone sealant for sealing joints and has more
widely application.
CHARACTERISTICS
Ÿ SS**1
belongs to RTV*1. Good extrusion and thixotropy between
4℃~**0℃. Easy to use;
Ÿ Neutral
curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass, concrete, marble,
granite etc.
Ÿ Release
low-molecular-weight alcohol and no unpleasant odor during
cure.
Ÿ Excellent
resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water;
Ÿ Remains
flexible over a temperature range of
**8°F(**0°C) to
**2°F(**0°C);
Ÿ Excellent
adhesion to most common building materials, and it has no use for
finishes.
Ÿ Good
compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
APPLICATIONS
Ÿ Glazing
for all type door and window;
Ÿ As
a secondary edge adhesive sealant;
Ÿ Sealing
in aluminum curtain wall joints. Sealing in glass curtain wall
joints;
Ÿ Sealing
for metal structural engineering joints;
Ÿ Many
other uses.

for one-part sealants.
