Benzoyl Chloride

Benzoyl chloride are important benzoylation and benzylation reagent. Most of Benzoyl chloride is 

used for the production of benzoyl peroxide, and for the production of benzophenone, benzyl 

benzoate, benzyl cellulose and benzamide and other important chemical raw material . Benzoyl

 
peroxide is used for the polymerization initiator of the plastic monomers , catalyst of producing 

polyester, epoxy, acrylicresin , self-

curing agent of the glass fiber materials , the crosslinking agent 

of the silicon fluorine rubber , oil refining , Bleaching flour , fiber bleaching, and so on.

Additional, benzoic acid and benzoyl chloride can also produce acid anhydride, acid anhydride is 

the main purpose for acylation agent, also can be used as bleaching agent and a flux component, 

but also for the preparation of benzoyl peroxide .
