The TailMate by Fisher Instruments, is designed to enhance the reaction time of the driver of the vehicle behind when a motorcycle they are following begins to decelerate. TailMate State-of-the-Art solid-state electronic module converts your ordinary centre brake light or 3rd brake light into a visual alert when you are braking. With the TailMate installed, when you apply your brakes, it causes your brake light to automatically flash approximately 6 times before entering the steady-state ON red light condition. IF THE BRAKE IS APPLIED AGAIN WITHIN THE NEXT *0 SECONDS, THE BRAKE LIGHT OPERATES NORMALLY TO AVOID FLASHING CONSTANTLY IN STOP-GO TRAFFIC. Also Suitable for Cars with a 3rd Brake Light.
