Low voltage protection If the voltage is lower than 9V,the ballast will stop working automatically to avoid running out off battery ower . Over voltage protection If the voltage is over *6V,the ballast will stop working to prevent the bulbs burning up. . Open circuit protection against short circuit: In case open circuit happened due to short circuit ,the ballast will immediately cut off loop circuit to avoid electrical vibration or potential risk of gasoline tank exploded.
