Founded in December ***8, Xiamen
King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as
“King Long” in the industry) is specialized in the R & D,
manufacture and sale of buses & brandedes. Consisting of
three manufacturing bases *- Bus & branded Manufacturing Base
in Xiamen, Van Manufacturing Base in Xiamen and City Bus
Manufacturing Bases in Shaoxing as well as two holdings
subsidiaries *- Higer Bus Co., Ltd. and Nanjing King Long branded
Manufacturing Co., Ltd. King Long is one of the world’s largest
bus manufacturers.
The three manufacturing bases of
the headquarter have a total annual production capacity of *0,**0
buses, which range from 4.8m to *8m in length and cover fields
such as passenger transport, travel, group transport, public
transport and special transport. In ***0, the company sold *3,**1
buses with total sales revenues of RMB 6.5 billion.
Since founding, with market as
the orientation, the company has constantly renovated products
and stuck to independent design and manufacture to meet
customers’ demands. With tremendous R & D strength and over
**0 various technical talents, the corporate R & D center has
been ranked among “National Accredited Enterprise Technical
Centers” and approved to establish a postdoctoral research
workstation.
Through *3 years’ efforts, “King
Long” has been hailed as a “National Vehicle” at home and ranked
among “China Top Brand” and “Famous Trademark of China”. King
Long was not only the designated vehicle for the “National
People’s Congress and Chinese People’s Political Consultative
Conference”, but also frequently served international conferences
or events such as the Universiade, APEC Conference, World Chinese
Entrepreneurs Convention and China International Fair for

company took the lead to land the European market after having
exclusively passed the British Commercial Vehicle Certification
(VCA). Thanks to the outstanding performance in developing the
overseas market, the company was the first to have acquired
export qualifications and honors such as “Certificate for Import
& Export Inspection Exemption” and “National Vehicle Export
Base Enterprise”. In ***0, the company achieved exports of RMB
1.2 billion, had sold products to over *0 countries and
regions, and developed over *0 agents and service providers
abroad.
