Graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces are graphite products specially used for electric arc furnace steelmaking. Electric arc furnace steelmaking is an important steelmaking method. Its principle is to use the high temperature generated by the arc to melt the charge and achieve the purpose of smelting steel through chemical reactions in the furnace. In this process, graphite electrodes play a vital role.
 
Graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces have the following main features:
 
High thermal conductivity: Graphite electrodes can withstand high temperatures of up to 3,**0°C generated in electric arc furnaces, ensuring even heat distribution and preventing hot spots, thus ensuring stable steel quality.
Low Resistance: The low resistance of graphite electrodes makes them ideal for conducting the large currents used in electric arc furnaces, which is critical to maintaining arc stability and the smooth progress of the smelting process.
High anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion capabilities: Graphite electrodes show good anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties in harsh smelting environments, and can effectively extend their service life.
