FISH QUALITY
Skins exclusively from fish that:
•
have been tested for organoleptic properties,
•
parasitic and chemical control passed,
•
suitable for human consumption,
•
there are no contagious diseases,
•
are not rotten / spoiled,
•
do not contain,
•
symptoms of disease and vital functions disorders.
TECHNICAL DATA
Skin from all parts of the fish, except the head, fins,
and the rests of guts.
Skins do not contain:
•
any insects or their worms,
•
pollution by excrement, dirt and mucus,
•
foreign bodies, such as: glass, plastic, metal, wood
etc.
•
radioactive or toxic substances,
•
pathogenic microorganisms or parasites transmitted to
humans.
QUALITY CRITERIA
On request, skins would be: with or without meat.
Skins are properly removed.
On the skin there is no visible fat, scales and other
parts that do not belong to the skin. Skins contain no
more than *0% free water.
Skins are stored in the refrigerator (≤ **8 ° C).
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation and storage is carried out in proper
conditions of cleanliness using appropriate vehicles,
the temperature is in the range from **8 ° C to **0 °
C. Each container is equipped with a temperature
recorder. Container weight ranges from *1,**0 kg
(minimum net weight) to *3,**0 kg (maximum net
weight).
PACKING AND STORAGE
Each pallet is wrapped with a polyethylene shrink film
on each side, free of defects. A plastic film is laid
between the pallet and the cod skin blocks. Individual
packs are not allowed. Each pallet is wrapped with
metal strips (minimum 2 strips per side) or plastic
strips (minimum 4 strips per side). Each pallet has a
weight of not more than ***0 kg (gross). The
permissible dimensions of the pallets are *0×**0 cm,
**0×**0 cm and **0×**0 cm, and the height of the
pallets does not exceed **0 cm. The upper part of each
pallet must be flat, on one level without any blocks in
the middle, in order to be able to stack the
pallets.
