Face shape:

  1. Drop Center Bit : can maintain high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations.

  minimum hole deviation.

  2. Concave Face: specially for medium hard rock formations.

  good control of hole deviation, good flushing capacity.

  3. Convex Face: can maintain high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard with low to medium air pressures.

  the most  corrosion-proof, can reduce the bearing and wearing of gauge s,

  but have poor control of hole deviation.

  4. Double Gauge Face: suitable for fast penetration rates in medium to hard rock formations,

  applied to high air pressure, relatively less wearing of the guage bit,

  5. Flat Face Bit:suitable to hard to very hard and abrasive rock foramtions in application with high air                 pressure. Good penetration rates, and corrosion-proof.
