Angular contact ball bearing can bear radial load and axial load, and it can work under high speed.  If the contact angle is bigger, the axial bearing capacity will be higher. Since the raceway of the inner and outer ring has relative displacement in the horizontal axis, angular contact ball bearing can withstand the combined load of radial load and axial load. Its cages are made of brass, synthetic resin, etc. The products can be divided into single row, double row and four point angular contact ball bearing based on its structure and number of columns of rolling element.
It is mainly used in the machine tools, rolling mill rolls and large diesel engine gear boxes as supports bearing greater thrust load.
