Plastic films are to be tested for onward processing for surface tension so that operative can get good idea whether Go/No Go.

Our Printest is widely used for extrusion/printing/lamination operators for checking side of substrate and treatment level.

It gives good indication whether substrate is above 38 dynes/cm. Surface tension of films are also influenced by additive levels in the film at the time of extrusion.

During corona treatment of plastic film by electrical discharge/flame treatment, CH/CH2 groups in the polyolefins are converted to more polar groups like C-OH, CHO, COOH. More the polar groups on the surface of film higher is the surface tension leading to good adhesion of inks and adhesives.

Its quick drying and leaves no mess like high boiling solvent mixtures. Product is pink dyed for easy visualization of result.

Its totally harmless and has shelf life over 1 year if kept tightly closed. Operators are advised to secure cap tightly after testing.
