Product Description
EDTA 4Na is also known as ethylenediamine tetra acetic acid four
sodium salt. It's white powder. Soluble in water. It is used as
hardening agent, multivalent chelating agent, fixing agent for
washing and bleaching in color sensitive materials, and activator
for styrene-butadiene rubber.
Application
1.EDTA is widely used as bleaching fixative, dyeing auxiliaries,
fiber treatment auxiliaries, cosmetic additives, blood
anticoagulants, detergents, stabilizers, synthetic rubber
polymerization initiator, EDTA is a representative chelating
agent. It can form stable water soluble complexes with alkali
metals, rare earth elements and transition metals.
2. EDTA is an excellent chelating agent for calcium and magnesium
ions. It is used as a chelating agent for water emulsion
polymerization to remove metal ions such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe2+ and
Fe3+. It can also be used as a complexing agent for anaerobic
adhesives, that is, EDTA is used to treat dimethyl methacrylate
to remove transition metal ions and to eliminate the effect of
promoting the decomposition of peroxides, which is very good for
improving the stability of anaerobic adhesives. EDTA sodium
chelate metal ions can improve the speed of modified acrylic
acid.
