While harsh chemical drain openers can remove blockages, they do little to address the requirement for a product that is safe and can be dosed as part of a preventative maintenance system.
Bio Clear coats the drain system with special enzymes that cling to the build-up and digest it: not just at the drain, but all the way down the length of the pipe.
The further advantage of an enzyme based product is that it does not pose a risk to pipe-work and drains. When it reaches the treatment plant, there are no toxic effects as can be experienced using detergents high caustic or acid cleaners. Bio Clear 
Drain Care continues to work for days after the initial use. Dosages depend on the amount waste that goes down the sink and the frequency that the product is used. Because the product is biological, it works best when
dosed little and often. There are two main rules :
Dose when it is quiet so that the product has time to sit in the pipes
Dose enough Bio Clear so that it goes past the U bend and works all the way down the pipes.
The product shouldn't be used  if drain is fully blocked. At that stage it is too late and the pipes would need to be manually cleaned out. 
The product is *9% biodegradable.
