2>processing:Each sheet is expanded in the regular form and then passed through a cold rolled reducing mill. In this process the length of the sheet is elongated - usually about 5% - but the width of the sheet remains the same. The sheet is then sent through a leveler to maintain its flatness.
3>The strands and bonds are set at a uniform angle to the plane of the sheet giving a dimensoinal appearance to the finished product.Due to its special structure, this also adds strength and rigidity , allows air circulation, as well as making a skid resistant surface. This is the original and most popular type of expanded mesh with the familiar diamond shaped opening
