Extrusion Blow Molding Machine

Extrusion blow molding is a process for directly manufacturing hollow plastic bottles/containers by using the standard extruder screw and barrel assembly to plasticise the polymer. This molted mass (called parison) is a tube-like piece of plastic with a hole in one end in which compressed air can pass through. After dropping from extruder, this hollow tube is captured by closing it into a water-cooled mold as well as knife cut the parison at the top. When the molds are closed and moved sideways to second position where air is pumped with approximately **0 PSI pressure through the top or the neck of the container, inflating it into the shape of the hollow bottle, container, or any mold shape (same like as if one were blowing up a balloon). When the hot plastic is blown up and touches the walls of the mold, the cooling process of parison starts. After the parison has cooled and hardened, the mold is opened and finished product is ejected.
