The Screw Conveyor system is highly versatile offering numerous
solutions for conveying powdery or granular materials. SCS Screw
Conveyors are manufactured from carbon steel,stainless steel with a
suitable surface finishing. They are made up from a tubular trough
that is equipped with at least one inlet and outlet spout, an end
plate at each tubular trough end, helicoid screw flighting welded
on a centre pipe with a coupling bush at each end, two end bearing
assemblies complete with adjustable shaft sealing unit, and a
number of intermediate hanger bearings depending on the overall
length of the screw conveyor. Furthermore, SCS Tubular Screw
Conveyors are equipped with a gear motor that suits the
application. Depending on the material to be handled, SCS
Tubular Screw Conveyors come in a light or medium-heavy-duty
design. Both types are available with ATEX, zone *2
certification.

The FS is a Flexible Conveyor.
Conveyor screw and external pipe can be bent without any negative
effect on the function. The external pipe is manufactured from
elastomer or stainless steel, whereas the screw consists of a
number of spring. The flight segments are enclosed by a metallic
spiral and supported by a steel wire core. The inlet zone consists
of a rectangular shaped spout with incorporated upper connection
flange. The material conveyed is expelled through the upper part of
the conveyor into an inclined metal shoe outlet. The screw is
suspended by the drive unit mounted above the outlet.
