Flexible Dies from Rotary Technology utilizes top quality hardened spring steel imported from Europe, going through rigid chemical milling process, then to be finished by CNC machining. Blade height can be controlled within a few microns to designed TPH. Blade to blade distance can also be controlled precisely within requested tolerances, to meet growing stringent requirement from label printing industry, in particularly from electronic label segment. All Flexible Dies are treated with special surface coating to endure durability and anti-rust.
 
Applications
The most of pressure sensitive label converting can now be more cost effectively done by Flexible Dies. Either high end prime labels, or simple bar code and price labels, can all be cut easily by Flexible Dies, which can be designed and made with various height and angle. Even the most complicated electronic labels, with special undercut of Magnetic Cylinder to be made accordingly, Flexible Dies can facilitate converters to achieve better label tolerances, more accurate diecut impression, and more importantly reduce costs dramatically in comparison with solid engraved rotary cutters.
 
Technical Specifications

• Different heights of Flexible Dies are available for cutting different ranges of material. Total Plate Height (TPH) is controlled within 3 microns tolerance.
• Blade angle can be adjusted to suit different applications, range from synthetic face stock, synthetic paper, to various paper stock.
• Special design can be made for continuous cutting;
• Multi-level, Creasing, Perforation and Micro-perforation are available depends on customers requirements.
