Calcium aluminate features:

Calcium aluminate has the advantages of uniform chemical composition, low melting point, fast melting speed, reducing refining power consumption and shortening refining time. It has been paid more and more attention by iron and steel enterprises and is one of the most important steel-making additives.

The calcium aluminate produced by our factory has no impurities such as fluorine, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon, which is conducive to improving the quality of steel products; it does not absorb water and will not corrode the furnace lining and ladle; the structure is compact and convenient for transportation and storage; the phase of the product is stable and the slag formation is fast, which can obviously reduce the dust pollution of the steel plant. The wide use of calcium aluminate makes the current steel-making enterprises change the production process of refining relying on high alkali materials, mixing slag and steel, and desulfurization outside the furnace, which greatly improves the efficiency of steel production and improves the quality and performance of steel products.


Use of calcium aluminate:

Before tapping, calcium aluminate is put into the ladle, because the molten steel flows into the ladle from the upper layer, the molten steel and calcium aluminate are stirred violently, and the calcium aluminate melts rapidly in the molten steel, and then accumulates and floats. Because of the strong reducibility of calcium aluminate, it has a strong ability of deoxidization and desulfurization. It can remove oxygen and sulfur impurities in molten steel during the mixing process. At present, the desulfurization capacity of calcium aluminate can reach more than *5%, which is a very excellent additive for steelmaking.
