Sodium hyaluronate, also known as hyaluronan, or HA, is a linear high 
molecular weight mucopolysaccharide composed by thousands of repeating 
disaccharide units of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine.

 

1.  Physiological functions of HA

HA is a natural substance, which widely exists in human and animal bodies. 
With its unique physical and chemical properties, it has a variety of
