Application OfFused Magnesia

Fused magnesite sand are manufactured by high purity caustic calcined magnesite through electro-fusing, a part of SiO2,moves to the surface because of the huge difference in the specific which well grown crystals, well crystal perfection and structure homogeneity, excellent chemical stability, good corrosion resistance to slag and high stength at high temperature. It is main raw material for manufacturing magnesia or magnesia-carbon refractories.The manufactures are mainly used in regenerative chamber in the large scale glass furnace by floating method, electrical furnace, convert furnace, house hold electrical appliances as electrical insulating materials and so on...

Features of Fused Magnesia

1. Compared with Zircon sand, brown sapphire, quartzes, olivine product has no phase transition from room temperature to the ***0 melting point, it has stable thermal property, good fragility, strong adhesive force, it can produce a smoother surface.

2. Fused magnesia has no radiation or damage of free SiO2 powder, so it can eliminate the possibility of anthracosis, it is environmental friendly.

3. The coating has good density and permiability, the casting will not adhere to the sand, it is easy to clean up afterwards, so labor cost will be reduced.
