Gum Arabic is mostly found in the sahel regions of Africa,this natural product is the sap extract from the hardened arcasia tree.Mostly used by the food and beverage industry,the gum arabic is used as stabilizer,binder,an emulsifier or viscosity-increasing agent in food and beverage production,pharmaceuticals,cosmetics,photosensitive chemicals,textiles,printing ceramics,paper inks,paints and adhesives.
The three largest exporters of the gum arabic in Africa are Sudan,Chad and Nigeria.
