The hammer crusher, also named hammer crusher machine, crushes by the collisions between high-speed hammer and materials. It has features of simple structure, high reduction ration, high efficiency, etc. The common hammer crusher machine includes single-rotor type and double-rotor type. According to the arrangement of the hammer on the rotary table, it can also be divided into single-row hammer mill and multi-row hammer mill; according to the different shape, this machine can be divided into ring hammer crusher and box hammer crusher. Hammer crusher is suitable for crushing medium hard materials in many industrial departments such as cement, chemistry, power station and metallurgy.  

Working Principle of Hammer Crusher Machine:

When the hammer crusher is working, the electromotor drives the rotor to rotate with high speed in the crushing chamber. The materials are fed into the machine from the upper feeding mouth and are crushed under the hitting, impacting, cutting and grinding of the hammer which is moving with high speed. On the bottom of the rotor, there is sieve plate. The crushed materials that are smaller than the screen size are discharged from the sieve plate, and the coarse particles bigger than the screen size are retained on the sieve plate to be hit and ground again by the hammer and finally be discharged from the machine from the sieve plate.
