1. CHARACTER
ThisC9 petroleum resin is a kind of synthetic thermoplastic resin mainly manufactured bythe polymerization process with Cationic Catalysisconditions from the vinyl Aromaticmonomers, namely C9 fraction, which is derived from the petroleum pyrolysis cracking process. It is a low molecular weight polymer with the molecular weight between *******0. Contributing to its good characteristics of low acid value, excellentcompatibility , high resistance to acids, alkalies and moisture, it is widely applied in so many industries including varnish, painting, printing ink, enamal etc.

MAIN APPLICATIONS
Paints Industry:

The high softening point of C9 hydrocarbon is more suitable for the paint industry, which can increase the gloss of paint and improve the tackiness, the hardness of material, which also could offer a super resistance performance to acid and alkali etc.

Tire and Rubber Industry:

In tire and rubber industry, the C9 petroleum resin could increase the performance of tackiness, adhesion, reinforcement of rubber compounding, with the goodcompatibilitywith natural rubber particles of rubber. Sometime it also could contribute to be a softening agent in the rubber compounding.
C. Adhesives Industry:
With the good tackiness property, C9 petroleum resin could be applied to produce the hot-melt adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, contributing to improve the bonding strength, acid resistance, alkali resistance and moisture resistance of the adhesives. The material also could reduce production costs effectively.
D. Ink Industry:
In ink industry, the high softening point of C9 petroleum resin will be suitable to achieve the good properties of ink with low color, quick-drying and high brightening and easier printing performance, etc.
