How does the burner work?

To burn any waste oil successfully it is essential to heat it to reduce the viscosity. Only when oil is hot can it be converted into a very fine spray essential for a good clean burn. There is no smoke from the burner when the burner is set up correctly.

The hot oil is siphoned from the preheat tank by a supply of compressed air. It uses exactly the same principle as a paint spray gun. As the air flow increases, so does the flow of oil, hence the amount of heat released.

At all times the flame is electronically supervised by the photocell and it will shut off the burner if there is any malfunction.
