Inconel **7 wire comprised of nickel, chromium, cobalt and molybdenum with exceptional resistance to oxidation and variety of corrosion media and high temperature processing strength. The alloy wire is readily prepared and weldable. Inconel **7 wire shows exceptionally higher levels of creep rupture strength at the temperature of ***0°F or (**0°C) and over. The alloy is preferably employed at the elevated temperatures.

The blend of large strength and resistance to oxidation retains over ***0°For (**0°C) temperature that makes Inconel **7 wire popular for designing the ducting, burning cans and transition liners in the spacecraft and gas turbines.
