Honeycomb dehumidifiers are mainly use to dry hygroscopic engineering plastics. A honeycomb rotor (Sweden PROFLUTE porcelain honeycomb rotary) is used to offer effective drying, which under ideal conditions, can supply dehumidified dry air with a dew-point lower than **0oC. The air returned from the drying hopper( recycled air) is continuously dehumidified on the way and heated to the temperature adequate to the dried materials. This air passes through the material layers removing the moisture in the materials. Then the water-absorbing air returns to the dehumidifier unit. Features of dehumidifying dryer: 1.
