Circlips are now widely used in many forms and offer a favourable and inexpensive securing device. They vary from the simple wire ring to the more robust circlip which offers substantial axial thrust. 


**2 range are probably the most common form of external axially fitted circlip. They offer continuous radial force and are ideal for applications requiring a strong centrifugal force as well as being secure against high rotational speeds. 

Fitting or removal is simplified by the use of Circlip Pliers
