Its main materials are acrylates and acrylamide, and auxiliary materials are mineral oil and surfactants. It is mainly used to reduce filtration of drilling fluid. Advantages * Excellent reducing filtration capacity of drilling fluid * Low viscosity effects, maintains polymer drilling fluid’s rheology * High salt-resistance and calcium-magnesium-resistance, can be used in brine and saturate brine drilling fluid systems * Good dispersibility, high dissolution velocity * Stabilizes borehole, reduces torque, improves quality of mud cake * Passes solid equipment smoothly, high efficiency, economical * Easy to use, convenient to add, no powder contamination Application Range and Method PL is used as fluid loss control agent with no effect on viscosity. It can effectively control fluid loss of drilling fluid, improve quality of mud cake, and be used for salt water and saturated brine drilling fluid systems. PL can be formulated into aqueous solution for use or mixed into drilling fluid directly. Suggest mixing uniformly and slowly or intermittently. Recommend dosage is 0.5% to 1.0%.
