Use as SEI forming additive and conductive agent for high performance lithium rechargeable batteries. With high temperature stability: decomposition temperature over **0 °C (TGA experiment); form more stable SEI on cathode and anode material; improve battery high temperature performance; effectively suppress Mn and Fe dissolve from cathode material; Hygroscopic; Halide-free; Excellent Al-corrosion-protection property
As a novel conductive lithium salt, lithium bis(oxalato)borate( LiBOB), which possess good film forming property and high thermal stability. The new halide-free salt can be used in high performance lithiumrechargeable batteries as additives or mix salt with traditional fluorinated compounds like LiPF6, LiBF4, Li-triflate, methanides, imides etc
