LVMP Spray Gun

Symptom

1.Spray gun's material level too low.

2.Container tipped too far.

3.Loose spray gun's fluid inlet connection.

4.Loose or damaged spray gun's fluid tip/seat.

5.Dry or loose spray gun's fluid needle packing nut.

6.Spray gun's air vent clogged.

1.Add material into spray gun's container.

2.Hold more upright.

3.Tighten.

4.Adjust or replace the spray gun's fluid tip/seat

5.Lubricate or tighten.

6.Clear the spray gun's vent hole.

1.Worm or loose spray gun's fluid nozzle.

2. Spray gun's material build up on air cap.

1.Tight or replace spray gun's fluid nozzle.

2.Remove obstructions from holes, but use meatal objects to clean.

1. Spray gun's material too thin or not enought.

Air leaking from air cap without pulling trigger

1.Sticking spray gun's valve stem

2.Contaminate on spray gun's air valve or seat
3.Worm or damaged spray gun's air valve or seat

4.Broken spray gun's air valve spring

5.Bent spray gun's valve stem

1.Lubricate spray gun's valve stem

2.Clean spray gun's air valve or seat
3.Replace spray gun's air valve or seat

Spray gun fluid leaking from packing nut

1.Spray gun 's packing nut loose

2.Spray gun 's packing worm or dry

1.Tighten, but do not restrict needle

2.Peplace or lubricate (non-silicone oil)

Excessive overspray

1.Too high atomization pressure

2.Too far from work surface

3.Improper stroking (arcing ,spray gun motion too fast )

1.Reduce pressure

2.Adjust to proper distance

3.Move at moderate pace, parallel to surface

1.No pressure at spray gun

2.Spray gun 'sfluid control not open enough

3.Spray gun's fluid too heavy

1.Check spray gun's air lines

2.Open spray gun's fluid control

3.Thin spray gun's valve stem fluid or change to pressure feed system
