Marine shaft Grounding Device :

To provent arcing between the shaft and bearing,so that the propeller axial return currents along the hull

When the propeller shaft is  in operation ,there is  an oil firm between the bearing and shaft which will cause a high potential difference  and corroade  the propeller shaft  and shaft bushing .

This marine shaft grounding device will minimize the potential  difference between shaft and hull because it can prevent the arcing between the shaft and bearing and make currents return to the along propeller shaft .
