Medium voltage power cable 3.***6KV Standard: IEC**5 OR BS***2 Conductor: copper or aluminium conductor s up to ***0sqmm, circular compacted & stranded by IEC**8 Class 2 Conductor screen: Extruded layer of semiconducting XLPE applied under-simultaneous triple extrusion process over the conductor along with the insulation and the insulation screen. Insulation: Extruded layer of insulting grade XLPE applied over conductor screen under triple extrusion process along with conductor screen and insulation screen. Insulation screen: A layer of semiconducting XLPE applied by triple extrusion process over the insulation Metallic screen: A layer of copper tape applied helically with overlap over insulation screen. Inner shealth (bedding): Extruded layer of Pvc & PE applied over the laid up cores. PVC and PE as per IEC****2 Part 2 Armour: In case of armoured cables, the armour is applied over inner shealth. For single core cables, aluminium wire for armor; for multi-core cables, galvanized steel wire, steel tap or steel strip for armor option. Outer sheath; Extruded layer of PVC, PE, HDPE OR MDPE. Voltage rating:P3.3kv to *8/*0/*6kv. Remark: the cable can be with special screen and increased conductivity and other enhanced features
