2. incompatibilities
It is incompatible with strong oxidants and strong acids. When combined with chlorpromazine hydrochloride, droperidol, idarubicin, metoclopramide hydrochloride, heparin solution, prednisolone sodium phosphate, and promethazine hydrochloride, the formation of a cloudy solution or precipitate is observed.

Store at room temperatures below *5°C, in its package to protect from light.

5. The nature and content of the packaging:
It is packaged in transparent Type I glass vials closed with a rubber stopper and flip-off cap, containing **0 mg of methotrexate in *0 ml.

6. Disposal of residues from the medicinal product for human use and other special measures
Parenteral methotrexate preparations do not contain an antimicrobial substance. Any unused concentrated injectable solution should be discarded.

Parenteral methotrexate preparations are stable for *4 hours at room temperature when diluted with the following intravenous infusion fluids: 0.9% sodium chloride, glucose, sodium chloride, and glucose.

Other drugs should not be mixed with methotrexate in the same infusion container.

Use of cytotoxic drugs:

Cytotoxic drugs should only be used in designated areas by trained personnel. The work surface should be covered with disposable plastic-backed absorbent paper. Protective gloves and goggles should be used so that the drug does not accidentally come into contact with the eyes and skin.

Methotrexate is not a vesicant and does not harm the skin when it comes into contact with it. But it should be washed off immediately with water. A temporary stinging sensation can be treated with cream. If there is a danger of systemic absorption of a certain amount of methotrexate by any route, calcium leucovorin should be given.

Cytocytic preparations should not be used by pregnant personnel.

Any spillage or waste material is destroyed by incineration. We do not have a specific recommendation on the combustion temperature.
