1) The cover fabric is made of nylon spandex / lycra. Spandex / lycra is a very soft and elastic material, usually being used in swimwear. Its unique elastic characteristic allows the cushion to be stretched freely in all directions 2) The filling inside the cushion is high quality round polystyrene beads. These beads range from 0.3mm to 0.8mm in diameter 3) This combination of spandex / lycra cover and polystyrene beads allows our pillows to have a very unique yet comfortable hand feeling
