Mill Scale is by product of the hot rolling
lamination process.
At a visual inspection it appears as bluish black powder, made of
small particles and chips.
Mill scale has been classified has an UVCB Substance since it is
made of a large number of constituents and its composition can
sensibly vary according to the metallurgical plant, from where it
is collected.
The material is reprocessed and screened in order to free it from
dirt, nonferrous metals, or foreign material of any kind.
Mill Scale can be processed and delivered in container or in bulk
vessel, but in strict compliance with the European laws regulating
the trans-boundary shipment of waste
materials.
