Tapioca Starch Powder (TSP) is obtained from the root called "Tapioca". It carries high viscocity . it can be modified by physical changing by treating with chemical or by modifying its characteristics with respects to its strengths, binding, solubility as per needs in different industries.As TSP is nutrel in taste so it does not effect the products in which it is blend.it is used in food and non food industries. There are some products in which modified TSP is used to serve certain purpose for which native corn starch will not be of much use.We have several grades of TSP for different type of industries.
It helps the thickening and solidifying process, gives a sticky consistency and preserves the balance of water in various goods. It is used as a feed-stock for the manufacture of Soups, Sauces, Instant, Desserts, Candy, Puddings, Custard Powder, Sausages, Ice Creams, Bread, Noodles, Gravies, Baby foods and Beverages etc
