Moringa oleifera is an edible plant native of the western and sub-Himalayan tracts, India, Pakistan, Asia Minor, Africa and Arabia. Moringa has been named the Miracle Tree, Tree of Life, Mothers Best Friend, and Gods Gift to Man; Savior of the Poor as every part of plant can be and has been consumed as daily food by people of Indian subcontinent and Africa. These cultures have recognized a wide variety of nutritional and medicinal qualities of Moringa attributed to its roots, bark, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds.
