Several preparation methods of metal nickel are briefly described:
☆Electrolysis method ☆ Carbonylation method ☆ Hydrogen reduction method
â‘ Electrolysis. The enriched sulfide ore is calcined into oxide, reduced to crude nickel by carbon, and then pure metal nickel is obtained by electrolysis.
â‘¡ Carbonylation method. Nickel sulfide ore and carbon monoxide reaction to produce tetracarbonyl nickel, heated decomposition, and high purity metal nickel.
â‘¢ Hydrogen reduction method. Nickel metal can be obtained by reducing nickel oxide with hydrogen.
